Lost Keeps Slipping in the Ratings

Lost’s slide is continuing on with the 4th season finale pulling in a mere 12.3 in the ratings and worse with a weak YAM share, which makes Lost much less lucrative to advertisers. Of course ABC was itself to blame for breaking the run up to the Lost finale with the Grey’s Anatomy finale. It made little sense, while obviously Grey’s Anatomy has become a bigger priority to ABC, better scheduling might have allowed ABC to run Lost uninterrupted, instead Lost’s 3 part season finale was broken up into a one hour part and a two hour part that aired two weeks later. Still overall this is part of the pattern in Lost’s declining ratings and the weak tepid content of the 4th season finale didn’t help matters or the fact that Lost Season 4 was basically one long drawn out episode taking place over a handful of days.
