Learning to Hate Facebook

Remember when MySpace was the one to hate while Facebook was the elitist choice of college kids who looked down on the tacky profiles of the supposedly Wal-Mart MySpace crowd. Well ever since Facebook opened up, became popular and developed a value greater than the GNP of Columbia, Facebook became the one to hate. From privacy violating ads to Facebook staffers spying on and tampering with user’s profiles to the proliferation of any number of idiotic Facebook groups, not the least of which involved a certain senile whiny white supremacist ally running for President on the Aww Shucks Let’s Spam Me Up to the White House ticket, there’s no shortage of negative press coming Facebook’s way. And that was even before the lawsuit over Facebook’s creation came in to the picture.

It’s bad to be the king.
