I won’t go as far as to say this is karma, just because Allison Stokke is the daughter of a slimeball lawyer who defended sexual predators and pedophiles, doesn’t mean she deserves whatever emotional trauma she’s experienced but it does mean Al Stoke can get off his high horse and shut the hell up.
There’s at least two cases on the record, one in which he defended a cop responsible for sexual extortion by proclaiming of the victim, “She got what she wanted,” said Stokke. “She’s an overtly sexual person.”
“You dance around a pole, don’t you?” Stokke asked.
Superior Court Judge William Evans ruled the question irrelevant.
Stokke saw he was scoring points with the jury.
“Do you place a pole between your legs and go up and down?” he asked.
(Behold the irony)
Another in which he defended a school teacher who had sex with an 11 year old play, saying “Where was she when I was 13?”
Whatever you feel about Allison Stokke, her father is clearly human filth and perhaps now he might give some serious thought to the damage that people like him do to others, now that his daughter is experience it. People like him think that they can defend sexual abusers and then act outraged when their own family is victimized. No way. It doesn’t work that way. That’s what always annoyed me about The Practice when Bobby and co would get murderers and rapists out of jail and then get all hissy when their secretary got spied on by a video voyeur. People have to realize that when they pollute the culture and society, it eventually comes back to them. Being a scumbag lawyer who defends sexual offenders means you shouldn’t wonder when some of the filth you’ve poured out into the collective social matrix splashes over someone you care about.
